SEO and content for manufacturers

The industrial cycle runs 6 to 12 months and always starts the same way: with a search. Somebody types the specification, the tolerance or the machine into Google long before they ask anyone to quote. This is the station that puts your plant in that result.

A 30-minute video call. The audit document and the 90-day plan.

Heavy machinery plant at night: a steel press and the rail of an overhead crane lit by hard work light, with the hall dark around them.

Your catalogue does not rank. The distributor above you does.

The PDF catalogue gets downloaded, filed and forgotten; nobody opens it again when the RFQ gets written. Meanwhile the buyer searches the part, the standard and the capacity, and lands on a trade portal or on a competitor who wrote it down first. The plant that owns the search owns the shortlist.

Content & SEO

8 optimised pieces a month

Written for the buyer and for whoever drafts the specification, each one reviewed by engineering before it ships. If a piece has no data in it, it does not go out.

1 pillar page per quarter

New or rebuilt: the page that has to win a whole product family, with its specification tables, its standards and its route to an RFQ.

2 links or mentions a month

In trade media the buyer already reads. No directories, no link farms, no filler blogs.

Full technical SEO

Crawlability, speed, product-family architecture, structured data and a Google Business profile pointing at the plant, not at the holding company.

SEO for AI search engines

Content structured so the answer engines quote your spec sheet instead of paraphrasing your competitor.

How it runs

  1. 01

    01 · Free growth audit

An 8 to 10 page document with your visibility against your three competitors, three prioritised opportunities and a 90-day plan, walked through on a 30-minute call.

  2. 02

    02 · Product-family map

We take the catalogue apart into the families that actually get quoted and match each one to the search that precedes the RFQ.

  3. 03

    03 · Production line

Editorial calendar, drafting, engineering review, publication. Eight pieces a month, every month, with the cadence of a shift.

  4. 04

    04 · Authority

Trade media, the in-house media network and pillar pages pulling in the same direction, so the domain stops depending on a single article.

  5. 05

    05 · Measurement

Live dashboard: organic RFQs, cost per RFQ and attributed orders. Monthly 45-minute meeting and a one-page report.

What changes

  • The buyer finds the plant while writing the specification, not after the shortlist is closed.

  • The catalogue stops being a PDF nobody reopens and becomes pages that get quoted.

  • Each product family has one page that answers for it in search.

  • The sales team walks into the call with the technical piece already read.

  • The board sees a cost per signed order, not a traffic chart.

Questions

How long before it shows up in the order book?

The industrial cycle runs 6 to 12 months, and SEO does not go faster than the cycle it feeds. Positions and RFQs move first; signed orders arrive at the pace your own sales cycle allows. We do not promise fast orders.

Who writes the technical content?

We write it and your engineering signs it off before publication. Nothing goes out carrying a figure nobody in the plant is willing to defend.

We sell through distributors. Does this still work?

Yes, and it usually matters more. The end customer searches the machine and the standard, and today the one who answers is the distributor. The pages exist so that answer is yours.

Do we have to change the website?

Not necessarily. We audit what is there and rebuild only what blocks the RFQ. Whatever gets built is yours: site, content, data and keys stay in your plant.

Do you work with our competitor too?

No. One client per territory and per product family. Exclusivity is not negotiated, it is signed.
